What To Do

Pelcomb Cross Campsite is located in the stunning area of Pelcomb just outside of Haverfordwest. It is 15 miles from the smallest city in Europe, St. Davids. It is a stones throw away from Newgale beach but also set in some stunning countryside.

You will not be short of things to do when you stay at Pelcomb Cross Campsite. Home to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and plenty of lush shopping towns around, as well as stunning beaches You will spoilt for choice.

St. Davids

The city of St Davids is situated on the far south west coast of Wales. Granted city status by Queen Elizabeth II because of the presence of the cathedral St Davids is in reality a small attractive village. Situated within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, St Davids is surrounded by spectacular coastal scenery renowned for its beauty and abundance of wildlife.

Oakwood Theme Park

Oakwood opened in the late 1980s as a very small family park with BMXs, a wooden fort, a 3D-style cinema experience show, go-karts and a water chute ride. The park now incorporates five large thrill rides: Megafobia (1996), Vertigo (1997), Bounce (1999), Drenched (2002, as Hydro) and Speed (2006).

National Botanical Gardens

The National Botanic Garden of Wales is situated near Llanarthney in the Towy Valley, Carmarthenshire, Wales. The garden is both a visitor attraction and a centre for botanical research and conservation, and features the world's largest single-span glasshouse measuring 110 m (360 ft) long by 60 m (200 ft) wide.

Narberth is a gorgeous little market town in the east of Pembrokeshire. Multicoloured Edwardian and Georgian buildings line the high street which has developed quite a reputation as a shopper’s heaven. Independent shops selling a whole range of exquisite items from fine art to fine food rub shoulders with vintage and antique shops. Then when a well-earned rest is needed, there are award-winning cafes, pubs and restaurants galore to rest your weary feet.
